Study and construction of a new 5* star hotel in Kamari Santorini, with 61 luxurious suites and villas covering 20 acres. The hotel has two central pools, private pools in the larger suites, restaurants, bars, shops, an outdoor theatre and a spa. The peculiarity of the natural terrain, the steep slope of the plot, the unobstructed view of the settlement of Kamari were important elements for the development of the composition. The main objective was to maintain the small scale of the Cycladic settlements, despite the area covered by the unit and the harmonious integration into the rocky landscape of the island. White plaster, local Santorinian stone, wooden frames and pergolas, and the natural landscape that penetrates the built, are the main ingredients for the creation of the new hotel, which aims to introduce the visitor to the microcosm of Cycladic architecture.
